Web Content “MUST” Be unique Search Engines are alot like people. They are looking for relevant and interesting information. Not only should your site have the ability to search MLS listings, maybe a mortgage calculator and information on your market area, but your site must have unique and interesting content. Why unique content you ask? First off, search engine web crawlers work 24 hours a day, seven days a week, indexing millions upon millions of web sites. This data is scanned and given a grade, if your content is identical or even similar to say a thousand other sites, your rank will suffer, guaranteed. The best way to offer your visitors and search bots interesting and unique content is to do 1 of two things, write your own, or hire someone.

Protecting your unique content once you have it uploaded to your site is another issue entirely. There are a multitude of content pirates on the Internet. These lazy web designers and their accomplices scour the Internet and copy unique content with the hopes of driving up their own rankings while in the meantime diminishing yours.
